Descrizione
Through the distribution of food items, the Initiative contributes to provide immediate humanitarian assistance to families displaced by the earthquake in the Governorate of Aleppo and currently hosted in five reception centers, with relatives and friends or in other temporary solutions. Each beneficiary family (441 families in reception centers and 3,825 families outside the centers) will receive every month, for a period of three months, a food basket containing basic products which will help meet the needs of five people for a month. The initiative will be implemented in partnership with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), the only agency to carry out food assistance interventions within the reception centers, as well as one of the main agencies to carry out distributions of food baskets as part of the Syria Humanitarian Response Plan.
