Description
The project aims to strengthen food security and economic resilience of vulnerable communities in Syria by restoring food supply chains, improving access to productive resources, and supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Key Activities - Restoration of water and agricultural infrastructure: rehabilitation of water resource management facilities and support for farmers through training, equipment, and climate-adaptive agricultural inputs. - Bread value chain recovery: rehabilitation of storage silos and mills to ensure a steady supply of subsidized bread for vulnerable populations. - Revitalization of food processing MSMEs: financial and technical support to promote MSME growth in the food processing sector, with a focus on empowering women and youth.
