Description

The CO.DI.RE. project has as its specific objective the improvement, knowledge and closeness of children and young people (age 13-18) of Emilia-Romagna to the GCE, its objectives and values, through the creation of an innovative territorial promotion system of Global Citizenship based on the synergy between the world of school, civil and entrepreneurial society and local authorities, aimed at consolidating widespread awareness and centered on the interconnection between daily choices and Sustainable Development. The project is aimed at the target groups identified as follows: 1) Teachers of the 3° year of the lower secondary school and of the secondary school of II degree 2) 3° year students of lower secondary school and secondary school students 3) Local authorities 4) Local no profit sector and civil society 5) Local enterprises CO.DI.RE. is organized into 3 macro-groups of actions for the related expected results: ACTIONS RA1 - (Awareness – COnsapevolezza in Italian // of children and young people (ages 13-18) of the dimension of citizenship in a global key, through knowledge of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, the Sustainable Development Goals and the main global challenges, improved).The activities planned are focused on the training of teachers and students on the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda thanks to innovative teaching methodologies, Research-Action groupsto stimulate and accompany students' citizenship actions and to contribute to make their schools more sustainable and global. Interdisciplinary and participatory educational paths will be tested for (and with) the students of the classes involved, for the acquisition of global citizenship skills on a cognitive, socio-emotional and behavioral level. Webinars, workshops, experiential learning workshops will be introduced within the school curricula, on the topics: human rights, environment, social and economic justice, interculture, living conditions in some contexts of the world, global imbalances in the economy and in the resource distribution. ACTIONS RA2 - (DIalogue between institutions, civil society, schools, universities, the media, the world of work and business, social and health services, for a territorial approach in favor of the GCE, implemented). The actions mainly developed around the figure of institutional partners, civil society and local businesses. The Municipality of Parma will set up a municipal and inter-municipal control room with free participation of local actors from various areas, aimed at developing a territorial approach to support the GCE, to favor the coordination of territorial activities and the synergy and enhancement of initiatives of individual realities. Framework agreements, memoranda of understanding and joint declarations will be promoted to actively contribute to the implementation of a local GCE implementation plan, and initiatives will be carried out to promote GCE in the local business, to develop common language and actions, to pay attention to new professions, corporate social responsibility, the figure of the sustainability manager, transversal skills in the business environment and prepare the ground for the entry into the labor market of a new generation of human resources, more attentive and prepared on the GCE and on the values and objectives. It will promote green and fair choices in the context of public procurement, as a qualifying element of local authorities, municipal companies and public bodies in general, to trigger a virtuous institution-citizen circle. ACTIONS RA3 - (REsponsibility of citizens on their own transformative capacities at an environmental, political and social level and multilevel active participation, promoted).The actions aim to make citizens responsible and the potential for transformation and participation on the various aspects.
