The acon "Region 4.7 - Territories for Global Cizenship Educaon" aims to promote the dissemina.on and integra.on of Global Ci.zenship Educa.on within local programmes and strategies, in the Piedmont Region by 2025, in order to contribute to strengthen and expand the concept of cizenship as way of belonging to the global community and as an expression of internaonal solidarity. This objecve arises from three main assessed needs:the need for a greater coordinaon between local actors, instuonal and non-instuonal, who operate in the field of CGE and internaonal cooperaon, in order to harmonize and coordinate their currently fragmented acon, characterised by a high degree of complexitythe need of systemazing effecve, innovave and replicable methodologies and tools useful to update teaching and assessment methodologies of teachers, and to enable them to acvate transformave learning processes with * students * and to evaluate their effecveness in terms of acquision of skills by * students *, on the issues of sustainability and internaonal solidarity.the need to promote and contextualize virtuous processes of dialogue in the Piedmont area, between LAs, School Authories and CSOs, and in order to harmonize their acon and to strengthen the funcon of the Educang Community with respect to * students * of the territory itself on the issues of sustainability and internaonal solidarity The main target groups of the acon are Schools, CSOs, Local Authories, decision makers, civil servants teachers, students and overall the cizens of the involved territories. To achieve the specific objecve of the project, the iniave foresees three main areas of intervenon, enhancing the skills, roles and experiences of all the subjects of the partnership through parcipaon, connecon and experimentaon: a) A regional system of governance will be established and implemented, so that the recent Naonal CGE Strategy will be developed and experimented at the local level, by integrang it with the regional strategies for internaonal cooperaon, sustainable development and Agenda 2030. Theis system of governance will strengthen the effecveness and the concreteness of the acvies, integrang the exisng strategies and tools at regional level. Parcularly, the thirty years regional experience in internaonal/decentralized cooperaon will be harmonized and integrated with Regional Strategy on Sustainable Development. Through the establishment of a Regional Mul-stakeholder Working Group for CGE, convergences and cricalies will be idenfied, and the necessary organizaonal and methodological steps will be planned. Also, the roles and skills of each actor will be defined under a transversal, muldisciplinary and subsidiarity perspecve (Local Authories and their networks, the Regional Office of Educaon Ministry, Schools, CSOs and their regional network COP, University, regional directorates ...), and finally an instuonal and permanent Steering Commiee for the promoon of a Mul-annua Allegato 2_ Modello Documento Unico di Progetto Regional Plan for ECG will be established. b) Concerning the formal educaonal system, effecve CGE pracces will be tested at regional level, and new tools to develop key cognive, socio-emoonal and behavioural skills of teachers and students will be developed. Thanks to past experiences and projects carried out in the last 15 years at regional and internaonal level with European funding, the Piedmont Region (with its educaon, environment and cooperaon sectors) will collaborate with the Regional Office of Educaon Ministry, the University of Turin and other stakeholders, in order to co-design training courses dedicated to teachers and CSOs staff, leading them to co-design and implement innovave CGE acvies addressed to 4.000 students in a total of 50 schools. c) Finally, the Regional CGE Strategy will be promoted at local level, in order to locally influence the acons of the so called read more close
