Description

The proposed project would contribute to achieving UNRWA's Syria Emergency Appeal 2019 Strategic Objective 2: Contribute to a protective environment for Palestine refugees by maintaining access to basic services. More specifically the project will ensure that Palestine refugee children in Syria receive quality and equitable education for the academic year 2019/ 2020 and 2020/2021 through continued deployment of qualified daily paid teachers and attendants, sustaining psychosocial support through individual and group counselling, providing academic and recreational support materials (including back-to-school kits, teaching-aids, and sporting goods), and sustaining delivery of training for staff, and awareness raising sessions for parents, teachers and community members. read more close
