Description

The initiative has been designed to equip the Tunis office of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) with appropriate technical and operational resources to optimize coordination and effectiveness in implementing two significant delegated cooperation programs promoted by the European Union in Libya and entrusted to AICS. These programs, focused on strategic sectors for the country such as cultural heritage and the water sector, aim to contribute to the stabilization of Libya and to support sustainable and inclusive development. The initiative involves strengthening the managerial and operational capacities of the AICS office in Tunis, with the goal of ensuring more structured and long-lasting support over time. In this way, AICS will be able to intervene more effectively, addressing the numer ous challenges posed by Libya’s complex context, particularly in terms of security issues and logistical difficulties. read more close
