Description

The initiative aims to support people affected by the shocks of forced displacement (internally displaced persons, refugees and host communities), in particular women, children and persons with disabilities, through life-saving assistance; and to strengthen the protective environment in host areas in order to mitigate the risks of human rights violations and abuses. For this purpose, actions will be implemented to: 1) ensure access to quality education for children DPIs and vulnerable host communities; 2) improve protection services, particularly for the prevention, risk mitigation and response of gender-based violence and strengthen the resilience and empowerment of women and girls affected by forced displacement; and 3) improve the protection environment by strengthening inclusive protection systems, including child protection systems, in areas affected by forced displacement. read more close
