Description

The initiative is part of the Activity lines contained in the Agreement between AICS and the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security , which was signed in December 2023. In particular, the initiative represents the Action Line 2, part of AICS’ direct management. The initiative aims to aware public opinion about Sustainable Development, Global Citizenship and International Cooperation by increasing both knowledge and participation of different actors in the ongoing processes to implement the National Strategy for Sustainable Development and the Italian Strategy of Global Citizenship Education. Planned activities: - A survey in order to identify the specific needs of different actors; - An information and awareness-raising campaign that takes into account both the specificities of each actor and their role in the ongoing processes at national level. The initiative focuses on the interrelation and interdependence of the phenomena at local and global level, especially as regards the Partner Countries.The survey will also focus on:The public perception on international development cooperation, the interdependence, at local and global level, of current phenomena.In addition, the project will include events focused on development cooperation activities and the role of different actors operating at local level (e.g., the private profit sector).
