Description

The specific objective of this project proposal is to provide integrated assistance by promoting the resilience of the most vulnerable populations. To achieve this, the proposal has three components: - The first one aims at increasing the food security of vulnerable populations (IDPs, refugees, host communities, minors and women) in the Tahoua region, with unconditional cash-based assistance particularly at the peak of the lean season. - The second component seeks to reinforce the resilience of communities in Tahoua to implement sustainable long-term food and nutritional security solutions, reducing dependence on humanitarian assistance in the long term. - The third component seeks to assure sustained access and the provision of assistance to populations for vulnerable populations, boosting adaptation/aid to environment dynamics. A particular attention will be paid to inclusion and gender equality *Components one and two may be implemented in alternate regions should operating environment be challenging. read more close
