Description

The project intends to contribute to the establishment of economic, technical and institutional ecosystems, oriented to reduce the degree of foreign dependence of the partner country in the field of food security, in line with the agriculture pillar of the Mattei Plan for Africa to develop agri-food chains that favour the resilience of agricultural systems to climate change. To this end, the project intends to implement activities to create a Model Farm to cultivate and manage irrigated areas with local cereal crops and, at the same time, to build socio-community facilities to support local communities, such as schools, first aid centres, housing, canteens and a multifunctional space for sports, recreational and training activities. read more close
