Description

The initiative aims to contribute to the multi-sectoral humanitarian assistance effort supported by UNHCR in response to the massive humanitarian and protection needs of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh and to alleviate pressure on host communities and existing structures and services. The action addresses two distinct and complementary components, namely the realisation of refugee rights in a safe and secure environment and the empowerment and engagement of refugee communities. The multi-sectoral strategic approach will benefit approximately 984,591 Rohingya refugees and members of the host community, with a special focus on vulnerable groups such as children, women and people with disabilities. read more close
