Description

The initiative intends to assist displaced people, refugees and host communities in Sudan affected by war, with a Disaster Risk Reduction approach, promoting inclusive solutions for the population in movement. The initiative will include recovery and, when necessary, first emergency interventions as integrated as possible, with the aim of addressing both the needs of the host communities and those of moving populations (IDPs, refugees, etc). The priority sectors will be those indicated by the HRP 2024 (Food Security/Livelihoods, WASH, Education) together with the health sector. Salute. Priority will be given to interventions tartgeting minors, in particular those out of school due to the conflict, and women living in particularly vulnerable situations at risk of exploitation or survival sex.
