Description

The intervention aims to strengthen gender-sensitive governance, promote women empowerment and human rights, and reduce violence against women and girls. By supporting institutions and actors responsible for national policies and legislation on violence against women (VAW) and gender-based violence (GBV), the project intends to enable all segments of the population to benefit from more effective preventive and protective measures against violence in Albania. The intervention also seeks to enhance the capacities of Albanian civil society organizations (CSOs, media, human rights organizations) in their monitoring role on VAW and GBV, as well as the institutional actions and response. read more close
