Description
The project, implemented by the UNICEF Sudan, aims to increase access to and use of drinking water, sanitation services, and promote hygiene practices for communities affected by emergencies and internally displaced persons, with particular attention to gender and environmental components (including adaptation and mitigation). The intervention will target 25 educational facilities and 25 healthcare facilities in the localities of Sinkat, Refei Kassala, and Al-Galabat Al-Shargia in the Red Sea, Kassala, and Gedaref States, with the aim of improving health conditions and the resilience of the target population. The project will benefit 100,000 people over a period of 36 months.
