Description

The initiative establishes a multi-donor special fund in partnership with the African Development Bank (AfDB) to support sustainable development in Africa, particularly in country of origin and of transit of migratory flows. The Italian Development Cooperation commits €10 million in grants over three years. Combined with additional Italian ODA funds (from Italian Climate Fund and MASE fund) as well as from other bilateral donors, the multidonor special fund aims to address various sectors, including renewable energy, water resource management, and sustainable transportation.
