Description
In the Sahrawi camps, water scarcity is a significant issue caused by the morphology and characteristics of the semi-desert area around Tindouf. Refugees struggle to have adequate amounts of water. To address this overarching concern, UNHCR intends to provide Sahrawi refugees with access to essential resources such as drinking water, safe sanitation facilities, and proper hygiene practices, which are vital for their well-being and health. In addition, a set of activities related to solid waste management, another central issue impacting the health of Sahrawi refugees, will be implemented.
