Description

The initiative, from 2024 programming, will contribute to the implementation of the WPHF's humanitarian response in Haiti for the same year. The Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) is a global partnership for women’s participation, leadership, and empowerment in humanitarian response and peace and security settings. Guided by a range of civil society, government, and UN actors, WPHF is a multi-partner trust fund mobilizing urgently needed 2 financing for local organizations led by and working alongside women on the front lines to build lasting peace. In Haiti, WPHF supports interventions by local women's rights or women-led organizations in the following areas: humanitarian response, protection against sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), peacebuilding and recovery. read more close
