The bilateral initiative "STRENGTHENING OF OROTTA HOSPITAL IN ASMARA - REHABILITATION PROJECT FOR THE CARDIOVASCULAR INTENSIVE CARE UNIT AND MEDICAL TRAINING" aims to establish and launch a Cardiology Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Orotta Hospital in Asmara, Eritrea. The objective is to enhance the management of cardiac conditions and contribute to reducing mortality related to coronary diseases. Simultaneously, the initiative includes the following i) Providing highly specialized training activities to specialized healthcare personnel in Eritrea at various professional levels for cardiac pathologies; ii) Supplying medical equipment for the operating room, sterilization room, and intensive care unit; iii) Providing medicines, consumables, and biomedical supplies for cardiovascular pathologies. read more close
