Description

The initiative aims to strengthen the inclusive and sustainable development of local communities present in rural areas located in the provinces of Northern Albania, with an integrated, participatory approach, actively involving local actors, including operators in the agro-tourism sector, young people, women and competent local authorities. Specifically, the initiative will guarantee sustainable development in the medium and long term in line with the principles of agroecology through the qualitative and quantitative improvement of local agricultural production, the promotion of responsible and environmental tourism and agritourism thanks to the preservation, promotion and valorization of environmental, naturalistic, agricultural and cultural resources and local biodiversity. Consequent impact will be the increase of the family farmers’ income and the environmental awareness, especially of the young people, also through an integrated gender analysis to promote gender equality and gender mainstreaming in all sectors of intervention. read more close
