Description
The project aims to stimulate productive employment for actors in the leather sector in Niger by creating job opportunities, strengthening the skills needed to work as artisans (push approach), and supporting self-employment and the development of micro and small enterprises, so as to strengthen the private sector and provide more and better job opportunities (pull approach). The intervention has two specific objectives: (i) Strengthening the entrepreneurial and technical skills of young people and artisans; (ii) expansion and access to new markets. The project will adopt a systemic approach, working with and through the actors directly involved in or supporting the market system of the leather sector.
