Description

The initiative aims at implementing to the whole Iraqi Kurdistan Region the Health Information System set up in the previous phase. The information system allows to collect, analyze, disseminate, and utilize data regarding disease occurrence, vaccinations, childbirths, and deaths. These data, registered in all the health centers and hospitals of the Region, will be key for assessing the health status of the resident, internal displaced and refugee populations, assessing the health needs and programming the health services. Training of local staff at all levels of the health system will be delivered to assure a proper management of the information system and decision-making process, to assure project’s sustainability. read more close
