Description

The Initiative, implemented by CSOs selected through a call for proposal, is in line with the governmental strategies. It has a general objective to contribute to the strategic objective “Improve maternal, child, and adolescent health and nutrition status” included in the Health Sector Development and Investment Plan 2023-2025 of the Ethiopia Ministry of Health, and as specific objective to improve the access and quality of the essential and specialised neonatal services. To do that, the Initiative will work on: i) improving the competencies of the health care staff working in the maternal and child health and neonatology departments in Suhul Hospital in Shire and Black Lion Hospital in Addis Abeba; ii) strengthening the infrastructure and equipment of the neonatology departments in Suhul Hospital in Shire and Black Lion Hospital in Addis Abeba. read more close
