Description

This initiative aims to enhance the social cohesion, increase the livelihood opportunities, and maintain the integrity of Al-Salt City, in the Balqa governorate of Jordan, nominated in 2021 UNESCO world heritage site. Activities include institutional capacity building and training programmes, and the rehabilitation and revitalization of public spaces, as well as the valorization of living heritage assets, the latter representing the intangible heritage of humanity consisting of cultural products and processes that are preserved and passed down through generations. read more close
