Description
The initiative aims to address the social and economic marginalization of the most vulnerable population among those who have been displaced and have returned, in line with the provisions of the reference programmatic documents and with a perspective of the humanitarian-development-peace nexus. Specifically, it seeks to provide livelihood opportunities to the most economically disadvantaged and vulnerable households, particularly those headed by women at high protection risk, by (i) enhancing their access to the labor market and (ii) supporting the local market to offer improved employment opportunities. The initiative will adopt a gender mainstreaming-oriented approach and will adhere to the "do no harm" principle, with a particular focus on the targeting strategy. Participant selection for the planned activities will be carried out in such a way that their involvement does not impose an additional burden or expose the participants to further risks.
