Description
The Thematic Fund was launch during the World Humanitarian Summit in 2016 by international development aid and humanitarian actors, together with public and private donors, to address the urgent education needs of 75 million children and young people in crises.As part of the High Level Conference of Education Cannot Wait (ECW) held in Geneva on 15 and 16 February 2023, Italy announced a pledge for the current year of 2 Meuro, to support the fund in its promotion and protection of education in contexts of crisis and fragility, where children are the most affected globally. The protection of children and adolescents in such contexts, where the right to an inclusive and continuous quality education has been interrupted, is the main objective of ECW
