Description

The project 'Stimulating the Creation of Decent Jobs by Improving the Employment of Young Women and Men and the Formalisation of Enterprises in Senegal' (ADIJEFE) aims to address the issue of youth employment, which remains one of the main priorities of Senegal's public policies. General Objective The project promotes the creation of decent jobs through improving the integration of young men and women into the labour market and through the formalisation of enterprises in Senegal. Specific Objective 1 The initiative also aims to contribute to the evaluation of the impact of public programmes to support the professional integration and employment of young men and women, in particular the National Convention of State-Employers (CNEE) and the Territorial First Employment Facility (DTPE). Specific Objective 2 The project also aims to support self-employment policy through the operationalisation of the Entrepreneur Statute, which is a tool to both promote and formalise the process of self-entrepreneurship.
