Description
The project aims to help support and empower young Jordanian and Syrian women and men on their path towards economic independence. The initiative will support 1,550 adolescents and youth (50 percent women, 5 percent of whom are people with disabilities) between the ages of 17 and 24 living in particularly vulnerable communities in Jordan through a set of activities developed by UNICEF Jordan in collaboration with International Labor Organization (ILO). To advance towards the strategic goal, this program aims to act on multiple fronts by providing the skills, opportunities, and services to ensure access to formal employment, whether employed or self-employed.
