Description

The second phase of the MELYT program, entrusted to UN Women, aims to capitalize and expand the intervention model of the first phase of the project (experiences, tools, methodologies and lessons learned) in order to contribute to the reactivation and economic recovery of Trifinio, after the COVID-19 pandemic. The program will strengthen the women entrepreneurs networks of the Trifinio, conceived in the first phase, through the promotion of new financial services and products and the supply of formation and digital tools. Another cornerstone of the Project will be the access to the market thanks to local public / private institutions that support micro and small businesses and women's entrepreneurial and association networks, such as the previously established HOSAGUA network. Finally, greater emphasis will be placed on promoting measures to recognize the domestic and social assistance (cuidado) and social protection, in order to provide an integrated response to women’s needs in the Trifinio area read more close
