Description

The initiative promotes the sustainability of the returns of internally displaced persons and refugees and their (re)integration into communities in the north-eastern region of Latakia governorate. The Initiative adopts the methodology called Area-based Return Support (ABRS), developed by the Syria Return and Reintegration Working Group, which includes UN agencies and NGOs. The ABRS strengthens multi-stakeholder and multi-sector coordination in order to support local communities to reintegrate individuals who found refuge abroad or in other areas of Syria during hostilities. The planned activities respond to the immediate needs of returnees and their communities, while promoting the recovery of the economy and the restoration of basic services. read more close
