Description

The main objective of the intervention is to assist the victims of the humanitarian crisis and emergency caused by the continuing drought in Somalia. An estimated 7.1 million people - including 1.8 million children, 54.5 percent of the country's entire child population - are currently food insecure, with more than 300,000 people forced to cope with genuine famine. The project includes humanitarian activities in health, WASH and food security, but also DRR (Disasters Risk Reduction) activities aimed at life-saving assistance to communities affected by climate shocks read more close
