Description

SO|GLOB|E project - Strengthening the sustainability of the territories with global citizenship - is designed on the basis of the inputs given by the Multi-actor National Table on GCE, started by AICS in May 2021, and on the basis of the inputs emerged from the National Action Plan on Global Citizenship Education’s draft (PAN-ECG) in advanced elaboration phase, and through the discussion on the GCE within the international cooperation coordination of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces launched in conjunction with the work of the national multi-actor table. SO|GLOB|E ‘s objective is to build a shared vision of the role of GCE mostly aimed at young people living in the involved territories, increasing the sensitivity towards the themes linked to climate change, as a transversal element to the 17 Goals of the Agenda 2030 so that the capability of the actors involved will be of acting as multipliers in the involved territories. To achieve this objective, SO|GLOB|E will develop, in the Marche, Liguria and Sardinia regions, two lines of action: 1) the implementation of the integrated and interdependent national ECG strategy with the SNSvS and SRSvS of the 3 regions. To do so, the ECG territorial plans will be developed in accordance with the PAN-GCE (which is expected to be approved and adopted by 2022) for the territorial level. In order to do this, it is necessary that the regional public institutions and the territorial actors of the civil society undertake paths of exchange, participation and active dialogue on policies related to the GCE issues, with a purpose of integrated planning with territorial strategies related to Sustainable Development. , as well as other regional strategies (climate adaptation, S3, decentralized cooperation, social policies) aimed at drafting Integrated GCE Plans. In the three regions, territorial context analyzes will be developed, the establishment of a territorial governance system will be launched, and moments of in-depth analysis will be developed between GCE and territorial policies. 2) the launch of actions to increase the skills and knowledge of third sector operators, teachers, public officials and students on the issues of GCE, Sustainable Development and transversal environmental issues, through quality, equitable and inclusive education and the ability of young people to take action in the concerned territories of the SO|GLOB|E project. This will be possible through: capacity building actions on the correlation between climate change, GCE and territorial policies, in order to highlight the transversal nature of the CLIMATE CHANGE topic; training in global citizenship education aimed at students from the three regions; competition between schools for the creation of a multimedia editorial product on global citizenship education to be developed as a communication and support asset to the sustainable development forum fully using the GCE approach described above. The design strategy of SO|GLOB|E is dictated by the consideration that "Education, awareness, communication" represents one of the key dimensions for the effective achievement of the SNSvS objectives. As it is for the implementation of the GCE Strategy requires a multi-level, multi-actor and trans-sectoral approach that from the national level comes to support and strengthen the coordination and collaboration mechanisms in the territories, also in SO|GLOB|E there is a similar approach that provides for a structured dialogue between institutions, civil society organizations, schools, universities, the media, the world of work and business, social and health services, etc. (point 8 of the GCE National Strategy: “ACTORS: ROLES, COMPLEMENTARITY AND SYNERGIES') Target of SO|GLOB|E are the administrators and officials of the regional sectors of Marche, Liguria and Sardinia, relating to the SvS and the GCE, teachers and students of primary and secondary schools, university read more close
