Description

The initiative aims to promote sustainable transition from the informal to the formal economy through inclusive growth and decent work conditions to strength the rule of law, peace, social dialogue and human rights in Somalia. In particular, the project contributes to supporting the transition of informal workers in the fishing, textile and retail/small trade sectors through retail/small commerce, vocational training (VET), development of micro and small enterprises and promotion of a policy framework that promotes formal employment.
