Description

This initiative serves to strengthen the coordination and advocacy role of the OCHA office in Sudan. OCHA Sudan intends to support and guarantee strategic and operational coordination through the HCT (Humanitarian Country Team), HCT-Plus, the Inter-Sector Coordination Group (ISCG). OCHA Sudan intends to pursue this result through a broader analysis and sharing of the data collected to strengthen the evidence of the humanitarian response and base the rationale of the intervention upon an accurate identification of needs. This information, combined with response monitoring at the lowestadministrative level, is also used for HRP prioritization and pooled fund allocation. OCHA Sudan continues to focus on ensuring humanitarian access through monitoring and advocacy efforts.
