Description

The aim of this project is to improve the resilience of vulnerable families and communities in the provinces of Sila and Ennedi Est and provide for interventions at different levels, with targeted institutional strengthening and direct support at the community and family level. In the target areas, WFP will adopt a multisectoral approach to building resilience ensuring maximum complementarity and synergies with its ongoing activities. In addition, WFP will continue prevention and treatment programs for acute malnutrition in children aged 6-59 months and pregnant and lactating women in the camps. Mothers grouped in associations will be supported in the production of mixed flours based on locally available nutritious foods and supported to income-generating activities. read more close
