Description

The aim of the intervention is to improve the quality of public health services in Mozambique, in particular to improve the training system of technical health personnel through the strengthening of the national management and of the training institutes of the provinces of Maputo and Sofala, and the technical skills of the teaching and management staff and improving teaching methodology, equipment and technologies. The intervention uses a systemic approach by supporting the various levels of the training system (National Directorate for the Training of Healthcare Personnel, training institutes, hospitals and health units used for internships) through interventions aimed at improving the qualitative aspects of the training process, improving the skills and quality of the service provided by staff trained in an organic and sustainable way. The methodologies and training activities focus on the integration of face-to-face teaching with distance learning, supported by an adequate technological infrastructure (tele-training). The project will also strengthen the telemedicine system, both as a tool to support training and to enhance teleconsultation activities. read more close
