Description

WFP Sudan aims to support the Government and coordinate with other stakeholders in the framework of the UN Movement Scaling-Up Nutrition with the objective of alleviating undernutrition, ending malnutrition and preventing stunting. The action of WFP will be boosted by the development of the multisectoral Road map for Scaling UP Nutrition as well as the support on nutrition governance, coordination and operational research to create evidence and support the fighting against malnutrition.In a collective effort to end malnutrition in all its forms, WFP will work with the SUN Business Network, to pave the way for private sector to contribute towards improving nutrition in the country. The strengthened of the SUN Secretariat and Networks together with the efforts of all stakeholders to define a Multi Sectoral Nutrition Strategy and to development an advocacy strategy will mainstream nutrition within government line ministries and support the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals in particular SDG2. read more close
