Description

The project is based on the awareness that the approach to the health of the mother and child in the first years of life cannot be separated from a holistic and integrated vision of the psychophysical well-being of women and children. In addition to basic assistance services during pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium and the newborn, in coordination with the Civil Society Organizations, specific technical assistance will be granted to Sudanese institutions at central and decentralized level in the development of health policies, in particular in the maternal and child sector. Alongside the eminently clinical aspects, a strong action in the nutritional sector will be associated, to complement the initiative with the necessary attention that must be given to the nutritional dimension in order to develop a synergy that generates a multiplier impact. read more close
