Description

Main objective of the intervention is the humanitarian aid to populations affected by the crisis and by the humanitarian emergencies in the aftermath of the environmental disasters in Somalia. About 2.7 M of Somali cannot meet their daily food requirements and 5.6 M people are food insecure due to the compounding effects of poor and erratic rainfall distribution, flooding, desert locust infestation, socio-economic impacts of COVID-19, and conflict. The intervention will include life-saving assistance to communities affected by natural disasters in the sectors of WASH, health and food security and DRR..
