Description

Financial contribution to the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF), which is one of OCHA's Country-Based Pooled Funds (CBPF), established in 2014 as part of the response to the humanitarian consequences of the Syrian crisis in Lebanon. The LHF is managed by the Humanitarian Coordinator (HC) for Lebanon with the support of OCHA and an Advisory Board (of which Italy has been a member since 2019). In 2021 the LHF addresses the priority needs identified in the Lebanon Crisis Response Plan 2017-21 (which is the Lebanese chapter of the 3RP in response to the consequences of the Syrian crisis) and in the Lebanon Emergency Response Plan 2021- 22 (the strategic plan in response to the consequences of the multiple crises affecting Lebanon, which is complementary to the Lebanon Crisis Response Plan). The implementing partners of the LHF are national and international NGOs, UN agencies, and the organizations of the Red Cross/Red Crescent movement. The LHF is funded with contributions from UN member states. read more close
