Description

The initiative aims to respond to protracted humanitarian crises and complex emergencies through projects implemented by NGOs in line with Linking Relief Rehabilitation and Development (LRRD), the New Way of Working and the Humanity-Development-Peace (HDP) nexus, at the in order to support basic services and rebuild the socio-economic fabric of the country. Numerous activities focus on the health sector, such as surveillance, prevention and treatment of infectious diseases (vaccinations, malaria, cholera, diarrhea, venereal diseases), as well as maternal and child health services. The program also aims to support the improvement of the quality and access to basic health services with particular reference to the most vulnerable groups (people with disabilities, minors and single women, pregnant and breastfeeding women). Regarding the environmental sector, measures will be taken to reduce the impact of climate change on refugee camps. read more close
