The initiative is part of the WFP Country Strategic Plan for Cuba 2021-2024, which focuses on the needs of the most vulnerable social groups and aims to contribute to socio-economic recovery in the long term, especially following the hardships caused by Covid-19 pandemic from. The WFP, in coordination with the national and local authorities of MINSAP (Ministry of Public Health) and MINCIN (Ministry of Internal Trade), aims to contribute to access and consumption of a more nutritious diet for boys and girls under two years of age, for pregnant women and the elderly in the eastern provinces and in the capital of Cuba read more close
