Description

The World Academy of Sciences for the Advancement of Science i n Developing Countries (TWAS) is a second-class International Center under UNESCO auspices, based in Trieste, Italy. TWAS manages cooperation programs in 90 developing countries, awards research grants and fellowships (more than 2,500 since its establishment) for scientific projects led by young scientists, and also facilitates their North-South and South-South mobility. The voluntary contribution will be aimed at promoting new fellowships for young female scientists from developing countries to further their research in one or more areas related to the Sustainable Development Goals at TWAS-affiliated centers of excellence based in Italy. The work of TWAS impacts the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in a cross-cutting way and contributes directly to SDG 4, 5, 9, 10, 17. read more close
