Description

This project has the general objective of contributing to the reduction of mortality and morbidity due to diseases related to water quality. As recommended by the WHO, the intervention strategy has a multidisciplinary and multisectoral approach and it is focused on community participation. Environmental hygiene activities are planned, with the specific objective of improving the quality and quantity of available water for the inhabitants of the Department of León; and other more health-related activities with the specific objective of preventing chronic kidney failure and determining its aetiology in the Departments of León and Chinandega. read more close
