Description
The initiative, adapted to the cautionary rules imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, aims to stimulate and support high school girls to choose a technical education path in ICT, introducing them to the coding activity, after a strengthening training on the basics (MS Office package), with 4- month-courses and active memberships in “coding clubs”, where they will continue their training through exercises under their teachers’ supervision. The initiative will also support an incubator for female-led start-up microentreprises focused on ICT, through the already active “Innovation Space” of University Eduardo Mondlane.
