Description

The initiative aims at strengthening the rights of the persons with disabilities by mainstreaming disability among various actors involved - including those institutions at national and peripheral level - as provided by the UN Convention on the Rights of persons with disabilities (CRBD) under art. 32.The project will use a twin track approach to work at mainstreaming disability among different institutions involved - mainly the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD), but also the Ministry of Finance and Planning (MoFP), Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), Ministry of Labour (MoL), Ministry of Local Governance (MoLG), etc. In establishing this core network, the initiative shall involve the participation of persons with disabilities and their organizations. PWDs will be necessarily included with a need to make a change based on their real needs and a particular attention will be dedicated to CWDs and WWDs. read more close
