Description

The program aims at meeting the needs for humanitarian response with an integrated resilience and recovery approach focusing on empowering women, girls and youth from a multi-sectoral perspective, including reproductive health, protection and response to GBV and providing livelihood opportunities in a way that attempts to bridge as much as possible the gap between rural and urban areas in terms of production and access to markets, as well as access to services. It recognizes the various dimensions of women's and youth needs and responds with an integrated approach of complementary interventions that combine a broad range of services, including access to health, psychosocial support, legal counselling, awareness raising, community mobilization (including men and boys), life skills training and livelihoods. Women and youth participating in the project are targeted by all intervention areas, resulting in a more comprehensive response to their needs and in a more dignified improvement of their living conditions. read more close
