Description

The project aims to promote the integration of women, giving them a leading role. Traditional beekeeping, which is mainly practised in forested areas by men alone, requires a great deal of effort. Modern beekeeping, on the other hand, is less physically demanding and is particularly suited to women. Gender will therefore be a priority in the selection criteria for beneficiaries, with a target of at least 30% women benefiting from the training and equipment programmes. read more close
