Description
This results-oriented collaborative one-year project, to be implemented by UNWOMEN, in partnership with ILO, and UNFPA promotes women equal access to economic opportunities and decent work in Palestine and aims to uphold the SRHR for youth, particularly girls, as well as to afford them equal access to quality SRH services, replicating successful models in University campuses. Protection of women’s labour rights will be fostered through reinforcement of equitable laws, legislations, policies and active labour market programmes, while engaging public, private and community actors and implementing market-oriented skills trainings. It is also envisaged that through adopting a holistic approach addressing policy, service and social determinants, the program will achieve sustainable positive change in the lives of women and girls and enable them to enjoy their labour rights and SRH potentials in Palestine.
