Description

CIHEAM Bari is proposing this intervention that aims to strengthening the Jordanian Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) services through innovative approach for a competitive rural development. The project aims to improve the capacity of the agriculture ministry technicians to analyse problems/ situations and to correctly design plan of actions and intervention, based on the needs of the Ministry and of the rural communities
The project will also improve the capacity of the MoA officials to design new and innovative agriculture/rural policies for an improvement of the competitiveness of the Jordanian agriculture in an international scenario and for an integrated rural development.
A pilot intervention will be implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, assisted by the program, for the empowerment of the rural women conditions through the creation of rural women association to implement income generating activities
