Description
International Health Regulations (IHR 2005) is a binding legal instrument for Member States with the aim of preventing, protecting, controlling and providing a public health response to the international spread of diseases in order to limit public risks and avoid unnecessary interference with international travel and trade. The program seeks to ensure that the resources allocated to strengthening the International Health Regulations in Sierra Leone can allow the country to safeguard global health security.
